Blank Anxiety in the Summertime

When the conditions turns warm, blank legs, feet, and toes pop out everywhere like daffodils. All winter long, people hide their legs nether long pants. They safely tuck their feet away in airtight-toe shoes. But all bets are off in the summertime every bit sandals, flip flops, and bare feet become office of the unofficial uniform.

If yous don't mind showing off your legs, anxiety, and toes, then make a playlist of pop, rock, state, and R&B songs to celebrate the basic beauty and functionality of these torso parts. Legs and feet correspond much more than a mode to become you from point A to indicate B.

Dearest has fizzled between the narrator and her partner in this 2018 pop song, only they haven't cleaved up yet. Unfortunately, they don't touch on, don't talk, don't express mirth, or even fight. There simply seems to be nix betwixt them anymore, thus the narrator gets down on her knees to brand her case:

Don't exist scared to leave
If I'yard non all yous need
And so just set me free
I'm downward on my knees, tonight.

As lovely as Bebe Rhexa'southward voice is, I have to call a timeout on this vocal to wonder why this sad adult female wants to manus over complete decision making to Mr. Wrong? She's obviously not getting what she needs either from the relationship. Get off your knees, girl, and make a clean break!

Peggy - In that location truly is a playlist for only about everything. Some topics are a picayune tougher than others, though.

Peggy Wood from Houston, Texas on April 01, 2020:

At least I was familiar with "Barefootin." It is astonishing there are so many unlike topics for songs!

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on October 17, 2019:

Ramengi - These were fun additions. Thanks for your annotate and accept a great day!

Ramengi on October xvi, 2019:

I have three more:

Frank Zappa, "Stink-pes" (Most thorough story? Consummate with a talking canis familiaris showing upwards at the end!)

Parliament: "Agony of defeet" (by far the best title!)

and a fleck more heart-of-the-road:

Sun: "Legs (bring the wolf out of me)"

These three are spot on for the listing IMHO. All three don't merely mention feet or legs, they are *about* anxiety or legs!

I am not so sure if this really fits despite the title, because it isn't really most legs or feet:

Funkadelic "(Not Just) Knee Deep"

only and so, how many songs on the listing are really about legs or feet?

Zappa also has "Dancin fool" without anxiety or legs in the title only with the important line "1 of my legs is longer than the other and both of my feet too long".

There are many songs about legs and feet. :)

FlourishAnyway (author) from U.s.a. on February 24, 2019:

Tim - I'yard only a lilliputian slow on the draw tonight, that's all. That ZZ Pinnacle song is certainly sexist. The narrator is loving the daughter for her shapely legs rather than her brain -- then like TOTALLY 1984.

Simply don't worry considering the leggy lady went on to become corporate VP of something or other and used a business organization caste to get there. And the guy clarified that it was indeed fried chicken legs that he was referring to, not his friend'due south legs, as he would never boldness her.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on October 08, 2018:

Linda - I gladly welcome cool weather. Non only do I dislike the heat but too I find it yucky to look at people'south toes. I would much rather have them wrap upwards those bad boys in some tennis shoes then I can't encounter them. Telephone call information technology weird, but it'due south just a pet peeve of mine. You're right near that song! That is going way, fashion dorsum! Have a wonderful night in your wool socks.

Tim Truzy from UsA. on Oct 08, 2018:

Hello, Flourish,

I'll endeavor this once more. I don't remember I posted my concluding comment and you may non have seen information technology.

Your playlist is great. I love the ones I have listened to since first reading your play list.

Very creative.

I think legs and feet should be honored. They are so important and don't get much notice, as you lot pointed out.

I think the Z-Z Top song, though. On starting time hearing information technology, I thought information technology a bit sexist. But I savour the guitar playing of those guys, and then I ignored many of the lyrics.

However, your list is wonderful, interesting, and entertaining.

Much gratitude,

Sincerely,

Tim
